Mel Brigg – 17 August to 2 September 2012

Mel’s show exuded elegance and mystique. The guests enjoyed fine wine and chatter about Mel’s unique style and intricate symbolism. One buzzing question was “What do Mel’s circles in his work mean?” The staff gathered together with all their own opinions and all decided not to ask Mel so we could keep the mystery. It’s great when people connect and revel in the mystery of art, the mystery of character. Mel’s portraits of humans and animals all had a sensitive depth that went far beyond the surface. This kind of intrigue fueled much conversation and a great night was had by all! Thanks Mel ☺
